Education CS Prof Magoha Reveals What They Will Do If Election Is Repeated
Today the Minister for education prof George Magoha has directed school to start breaking as from August 6 for midterm in preparation for the coming general election come August 9.
Magoha while inspecting classroom for competency based curriculum in Alliance Girls High School, has also revealed that schools will reopen on date 15 after the election results are announced.
At the same time, CS Magoha has stated that if there is repeat elections during his tenure, consultations will be held to determine whether students will sit for their exams.
“We may have to sit down as stakeholders and see whether it will be fair to examine the children if they will have lost a considerable amount of time, I pray that that does not happen, these children have suffered enough,” Magoha said.
At the same time Magoha has banned all political related activities in the school as the children have short time in their academic calendar.
