The Teachers Service Commission is rushing his process to settle school administrators in various secondary and primary schools.
The commission is besieged to fix the many gaps created by many school heads who left and are still parting the service as an outcome of retirement or any other factor.
At this time at least 3,000 Primary school tutors are running without any appropriate school administrators. In some of the administrations a Headteacher is missing and only a Deputy is acting instead whereas others do not even have a Deputy nonetheless a Senior teacher.
Primary school teachers in Grade C4 who are in temporary capacity as school administrators are on their way to lead the schools in modern plan by the commission whose goal is to fill the vacant posts by December.
In Primary schools Teachers acting as Headteachers, Deputy Headteachers and Senior teachers will be promoted contempt lacking all necessities as charted in the Career Progression Guidelines.
However, for tutors in other regions must have aided in their present acting position for at least 3 years to be measured for promotion as well having the required qualifications.
In addition, the tutor must have been vigorously involved in submitting and filling their termly TPAD ratings as well having no former disciplinary case.
The Teachers Service Commission circular number 14/2021 said raise of teachers shall be in agreement with the Career Progression Guidelines in force.
Teachers Service Commission further said that, teachers serving in hard and ASAL areas and are holding administrative places in an acting capacity shall be promoted increasingly until they get grades equal to their respective position
