She claimed that through government sponsorship, all 145,145 individuals who met the minimum university entry criterion of a C+ or better will be awarded admission to public and private universities.

All 826,807 KCSE candidates will be placed in institutions of higher learning, according to Mercy Wahome, CEO of Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS).

“Candidates with grades ranging from E to C will be eligible for government sponsorship at Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institutions,” she continued.

According to the KCSE exam results, 681,662 candidates received grades ranging from C plain to E. Magoha stressed the importance of improving TVET institutions, which will enroll the majority of Form Four leavers.

George Magoha is the Cabinet Secretary for Education. Last Monday, declared that based on their grades, all candidates were entitled to advance to higher learning institutions.

Only those who apply for placement in various colleges and TVET institutes will be considered for placement and government sponsorships, according to Wahome.

Only 145,145 applicants who sat the 2021 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) exam obtained university entry grades, according to the results revealed on Saturday, April 23 by Education Cabinet Secretary George Magoha.

On the transition exam, those candidates got a C+, with roughly 700,000 students failing. Students who scored a D or higher, on the other hand, can enroll in certificate and diploma programs for a second opportunity at higher education.

Students with C and C minus grades in the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) program can enroll in diploma courses at any of the country’s 31 institutions.

Similarly, people with a D+ or lower can enroll in certificate programs, which include craft certificate courses for those with a D or higher and artisan certifications for those with a D plus or lower.
