MOE:Form One 2022 reporting dates extended to later dates few days after the earlier Postponement. Checkout the new changes and get prepared
According to the latest directives by the Kenyan government through the Ministry of Education, reporting date for Form One students has been extended.
As per to the latest updates the government gazetted may 3rd as as a public holiday to mark Idd-ul-Fitr celebrations across the country.
In the circular seen by this writer dated 27th April 2022, Education Principal Secretary Dr. Julius Jwan made the announcement that was sent out to regional and county directors of education.
In this circular, part of it read “The Cabinet Secretary Ministry of Interior and Coordination of National Government has gazetted 3rd May, 2022 as a public
holiday, which is the date of form one students were expected to report,” the circular, also sent out to the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) and the National Parents Association.
The new official reporting date for form ones joining secondary will be on 4th May,2022.
