More Than 115000 Teachers Promoted And 42000 Names Published.
TSC as already promoted 115000 teachers and 42000 names already published awaiting pay rise starting from August this year.
On the same note Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has paid the salaries and allowances of July for more than 315,000 teachers.
Teachers’ salaries have been deposited into their accounts by various banks and savings banks. Among them are Family Bank, National Bank and KCB Bank.
There is evidence that some teachers have paid their dues for the month of July. TSC transferred some teachers from one task force to another.
According to professional development guidelines, teachers who spent three years in one job group were transferred to another.
This July development mainly benefits school administrators. Principals, teachers and head teachers are some of these people.
Summary of pay points extended from C4 to D4.
The salary scale increases points for grades C4, C5, D1 and D4 range from three to seven points as shown in the table above.
The increased pay scale for grades D2 and D3 is from two points to seven points. The loan will be paid this month.
According to the TSC, teachers of grades B5, C1, C2, C3 and D5 will not receive a salary increase under the 2017-2021 CBA.
TSC is of the opinion that teachers’ salaries cannot be increased because they have reached the maximum compensation level.
CBA has reached the maximum salary level allowed to bind grades B5, C1, C2, C3 and D5 until the end of the 2017-2021 cycle,” he said.
