TSC Interviews in January 2023: How to Prepare, Documents Required,.Have you recently applied for a job with TSC? Will you be interviewing soon? So here’s a comprehensive guide to securing your dream job.
TSC interviews are usually held once a year because TSC is looking to recruit new teachers or replace those who have left the teaching profession.
Because finding a job with TSC is a life-changing experience, thorough interview preparation is essential. Candidates often appear physically, psychologically, and emotionally rushed and anxious.
They also don’t waste time preparing the necessary documents for the interview. They often forget the fact that impressing your interviewers can help you win them over.
Below are the preparatory steps that must be taken:
Dress code
What you wear is important because you don’t want to be the talking point during the interview. For women, a good quality skirt or blouse, as long as it’s not too tight. Also, don’t wear skirts that are too short. We recommend one not higher than the knee.
Men should also remember that wearing a suit is not the only way to look smart and presentable. Also, if wearing a suit is the only way to dress properly, the interview will be an expensive affair.
Conduct
During the interview, do not make any gestures that can show you are nervous, excited, or eager. Avoid chewing on anything and looking nervous, as this can indicate a lack of confidence.
Organize your documents
Gather your documents in a document folder or envelope. You should probably start with the latest. Make sure you also have important documents for the panel to review.
Extra Co-curricular activities
Evidence of participation in extracurricular activities can be important in tie events. If available, use it as it will help and enrich your presentation. This is just where to show that you have more than just your skills.

How to get 5 extra points in a teacher recruitment interview
To get 5 extra points and gain an advantage over other candidates, do the following:
(a) Communication skills
To begin with, you must answer all the necessary questions to avoid using slang. Always remember to be authentic.
Express your thoughts, be heard, and don’t close your eyes while doing so.
(b) Content/Subject Knowledge
You should have a good knowledge of the subject you are interviewing, as the interviewer may ask questions from that subject.
c) Briefly describe your experience
Start with the recent past. If you have attended more than one institution, the one you attended first must be the most recent.
Do not provide any part of the panel that you cannot prove, for example in a letter of recommendation or certificate. This can give your audience a way to pin you down.
