Categories of TSC officials responsible to handle teachers’ conduct.
1. School Board of management
For instance, Incase a teacher is found guilty of professional misconduct the school’s Boards of Management will always interdict him or her at the investigation stage.
2.TSC county directors
The TSC County directors of education will only interdict secondary school principals.
3.Deputy county directors
The TSC county directors have been mandated by TSC to interdict primary school heads of institutions and secondary schools teachers in institutions where the BoM is not functional.
4.TSC sub county directors
The TSC Sub-county directors have been mandated by TSC to interdict primary school teachers .
5.TSC Chief Executive Officer
The office of the chief executive officer will interdict staff in cases when investigations are instituted by the head office, according to the guidelines provided by the commission.
Not that before a teacher is interdicted , thorough investigations must be done as well as coming up with tangible evidence to proof an officer guilty.
