TSC To Hire 17,000 Primary Teachers To JSS On This Date. Check Out The Guideline For Application.
At least 17,000 teachers with degrees and diplomas will be employed in secondary schools by the Teachers Service Commission (TSC).
These are teachers who have attended an accredited academy, completed a diploma program or postgraduate degree, and whose credentials are officially recognized by TSC.
This primary teacher will be used by Commission to teach classes for grades 7, 8 and 9 next year.
The meeting held at the State House decided that due to the secondary JSS curriculum, priority will be given to qualified unemployed teachers to teach in secondary schools while recruiting 30,000 teachers.
These are teachers who have a bachelor’s degree or diploma in education. By January 2023, TSC plans to recruit 30,000 new teachers.

In addition, TSC has proposed to engage diploma holders from TVET universities to teach pre-technology courses offered in grades 7, 8 and 9.

TSC is expected to advertise the vacancy so that teachers can report when the school reopens on January 23, 2023.
