TSC recruitment panel will invite the next five best candidates for interviews, which will then be rescheduled, if none of the top five applicants match the requirements.
There will be a seven-day county recruitment exercise between Friday, January 13, 2023, and Monday, January 23, 2023.
Between Tuesday, January 24, 2023, and Tuesday, February 5, 2023, there will be county-level screening, complaint handling, internship agreement signing, internship offer signing, and employment offer signing.
According to the Commission, with the same marking scheme that going forward, it will not conduct interviews to replace teachers who have left the teaching profession as has been the traditional but it shall make use of past data from the preceding mass recruitment to replace the teachers.
“During the interview, the school selection panel shall develop a vacancy – specific Merit List. The Merit List shall be used in the subsequent recruitment processes involving a similar vacancy in the County within the financial year or as directed by the Commission from time to time,” read TSC guidelines.
A given candidate who is unhappy with the process should file a written complaint to the TSC County Director as soon as possible and send a copy to the TSC Headquarters no later than seven (7) days following the selection process;
